Explosives-laden vehicle near a military hospital in Abbassiya
An explosives-laden vehicle detonated prematurely near a military hospital in Abbassiya neighborhood, Cairo city, Cairo governorate, Egypt. An assailant was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the assailants were members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
