Detonation in Shubra el-Kheima city Metro station
An explosive device detonated at the Cairo Metro station in Shubra el-Kheima city, Qalyubia governorate, Egypt. At least three people were wounded in the blast. This was one of five bombings targeting metro stations on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Muslim Brotherhood. However, the Muslim Brotherhood denied any involvement in the incidents.
