Islamist Students Torch a Building of Al-Azhar University
Student supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood on Saturday torched a commerce faculty building at Cairo’s Al-Azhar University, a day after over 250 Islamist demonstrators were arrested across Egypt, security officials reported.
The students entered the building, stopped an exam, and torched the building according to the same source. The blaze, which spread through two floors of the commerce faculty building, was later brought under control by firefighters, they said.(Afp)
